Skylar Moore is an attorney who knows what it is to stand in her client’s shoes. Having personally walked the paths that many of her clients face, Skylar is able to offer real world guidance in addition to legal counsel.  Whether handling an emotional divorce and custody battle or navigating a complex business litigation case, she has an intuitive understanding of not only the immediate legal issues of her clients, but also the long-term consequences of those decisions. For that reason, she works closely with each of her clients to create legal strategies to help them achieve both their short and long term goals.

In addition to being a licensed attorney, Skylar is also a certified mediator. Although Skylar truly enjoys being in the courtroom fiercely advocating for her clients, she also understands that sometimes the better solution for her clients happens in a more collaborative environment.

Skylar Moore is a graduate of Baylor Law School. Not only did she put herself through Baylor Law School as a single mother of two young boys, but she also found time to serve her community through her volunteer work at the Baylor Law Veterans Clinic and Baylor Law Immigration Clinics. While at Baylor Law, Skylar demonstrated her love of and aptitude for appellate writing and oral argument, for which she was inducted into the Baylor Law Order of the Barristers.  She also served as the professional development chair of Baylor Law’s chapter of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity.

Before she became an attorney, Skylar spent nearly two decades in business development and project management. She has over ten years of experience working in commercial development.  She also continues to teach continuing education courses.

Skylar continues her commitment to helping those in need through her volunteer work with the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, children’s advocacy groups, and animal advocacy groups. When she is not working for her clients and her community, Skylar enjoys being a mom, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and travel.  She also rescues, rehabs, and trains horses and German Shepherds.
